Are you worried about your job? Are you anxious about your income? Perhaps your company is downsizing, there is talk of retrenchment, or perhaps you are experiencing business difficulties? Is bankruptcy looming? Feel like you are failing in your job or profession? Having trouble at work, school/university or in your business? Perhaps you’ve even lost your job. Maybe you were fired or suspended by your employer? Feel like a failure in life? Ashamed? Worried about your finances and debt? Are you fearful about your future? Are economic circumstances causing you stress? Mortgage foreclosure imminent? Anxious about legal problems? Are your financial plans going up in smoke? Worried about your well-being after retirement? Are you having family or relationship worries or anxieties?
Whatever the cause of your worry may be, consider the following Scriptures by King David: "18 But the Lord watches over those who fear him, those who rely on his unfailing love. "You are my hiding place; You shall preserve me from trouble; You shall surround me with songs of deliverance." Psalm 32:7 [New King James Version] Jesus Christ said the following: “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world." John 16:33 [New King James Version] He also said: "28 'Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. “6 Therefore humble yourselves [demote, lower yourselves in your own estimation] under the mighty hand of God, that in due time He may exalt you, The Apostle Paul also wrote: “6 Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. ------------ “The Lord himself, goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.” Deuteronomy 31:8 [New International Version] ------------ "1 Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
2 This I declare about the Lord: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; his is my God, and I trust him.
3 For he will rescue you from every trap and protect you from deadly disease.
4 He will cover you with his feathers. He will shelter you with his wings. His faithful promises are your armor and protection.
5 Do not be afraid of the terrors of the night, nor the arrow that flies in the day.
6 Do not dread the disease that stalks in darkness, nor the disaster that strikes at midday.
7 Though a thousand fall at your side, though ten thousand are dying around you, these evils will not touch you.
8 Just open your eyes, and see how the wicked are punished.
9 If you make the Lord your refuge, if you make the Most High your shelter,
10 no evil will conquer you; no plague will come near your home.
11 For he will order his angels to protect you wherever you go.
12 They will hold you up with their hands so you won't even hurt your foot on a stone.
13 You will trample upon lions and cobras; you will crush fierce lions and serpents under your feet!
14 The Lord says, 'I will rescue those who love me. I will protect those who trust in my name.
15 When they call on me, I will answer; I will be with them in trouble. I will rescue and honor them.
16 I will reward them with a long life and give them my salvation.' " Psalm 91 [New Living Translation]
------------ Jesus said: "Ask, using my name, and you will receive, and you will have abundant joy." John 16:24 [New Living Translation] He also said: "I tell you, that you can pray for anything, and if you believe that you've received it, it will be yours." Mark 11:24 [New Living Translation] ------------ "As for God, His way is perfect; [T]he word of the Lord is proven; [H]e is a shield to all who trust in Him." Psalm 18:30 [New King James Version] ------------ Rest in God and trust that He will see you through the situation. Do not try to rely on your own strength: "9 So there is a special rest still waiting for the people of God.
10 For all who have entered into God's rest have rested from their labors, just as God did after creating the world.
11 So let us do our best to enter that rest. But if we disobey God, as the people of Israel did, we will fall." Hebrews 4:9-11 [New Living Translation] (my emphasis)
"So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most." Hebrews 4:16 [New Living Translation]
------------ What is it that you would like to ask for from God in the name of Jesus Christ? If you would like to experience these biblical promises, accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour and give the totality of your life (with all your burdens) to Jesus. You too can have the peace of His protection and provision. Open your heart and have FAITH! "For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world - our faith." 1 John 5:4 [New King James Version] It all begins with getting born again by accepting Christ into your life. |
How Do You Receive Christ into Your Life?If you would like to receive the gift of salvation that God has for you today, make a decision in your own heart that you want to be forgiven of your sins and that you wish to turn your back on a sinful life. Believe in the Kingdom of God and the Gospel of Jesus Christ [Mark 1:15]. The Bible says if you confess with your mouth (i.e. actually say it) that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him (Jesus) from the dead, you will receive salvation [Romans 10:9-10]. Salvation is open to any human being who calls upon the name of the Lord [Romans 10:12-13].
read it again, but this time say it with your mouth out loud as you read it:
